Alert: Protect Yourself from Credit Union Impersonation Scams

Fraudsters posing as Credit Union representatives may contact you, referencing unauthorized transactions, to solicit your Online Banking username or password, One-Time Passcodes (OTP), or debit card information. If you have any doubts about a text or communication, hang up and contact the Credit Union directly—we are here to assist you.

What You Need to Know to Stay Safe

  • We will never ask you for your online banking username or password: The Credit Union will never ask for your login credentials under any circumstances.
  • We will never ask you for your full debit card number, expiration date, or the security code on the back of your card (CVV/CVC): Always protect your debit card information.
  • We will never call and ask for your confidential information except to verify a wire transfer that you have initiated: Your sensitive information will only be requested in this specific context.
  • Be cautious with One-Time Passcodes: When you receive a One-Time Passcode, carefully review the message. If someone claiming to be a Credit Union employee requests the passcode, but the message clearly instructs you not to share it, immediately end the conversation and reach out to us directly.

If you suspect that you’ve fallen victim to an impersonation scam, change your Digital Banking password immediately and contact us right away. We are here to help and take immediate steps to protect your account.
